"I Have Four Grandchildren": Hansi Flick Hints at When He Might Leave Barcelona
Hansi Flick has enjoyed a highly successful start to the season, and many Barcelona fans hope to see the German coach leading the club for years to come. However, Flick seems to have other plans.
Details. During a press conference ahead of the match against Celta, Flick was asked if he envisioned coaching Barcelona for another 10 years.
“I can’t predict the future. Ten years? We’ll have to wait and see. I don’t think I’ll be here that long. I have four grandchildren, and they deserve more of my time—not now, but before I turn 70,” said the Barcelona coach.
Context. Hansi Flick took charge of Barcelona in the summer of 2024, following Xavi’s departure. Under his leadership, Barcelona has made an impressive start to the season, sitting at the top of the La Liga table after 13 rounds.
