Details: In a recent episode of the Big Pete podcast on YouTube, former Chelsea captain and defender, 45-year-old John Terry, made no secret of his feelings, stating that he hates Tottenham with all his heart.
Terry didn't mince his words, explaining that his animosity towards Tottenham and their fans dates back to his early years:
"I hate Tottenham. That's absolutely clear. I was just a kid, and Tottenham fans were shouting at me and throwing things. That stuck with me. Since then, I've hated them for what they did to me in my childhood," Terry said.
John Terry is a Chelsea icon. Having started his journey in the Blues’ youth academy, Terry broke into the first team in 2000 and spent almost his entire career at the club before leaving in 2017. He made 717 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 67 goals and providing 29 assists.
