Boxer Tommy Fury, the younger half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, revealed the reason behind his broken engagement to Molly-Mae Hague. In an interview with Men's Health UK, he admitted that his struggles with alcohol led to the split.

This confession contradicts earlier rumors suggesting infidelity was the cause of the breakup.

Tommy disclosed that his drinking problem began after a hand ligament surgery left him unable to box for 10 months. He said alcohol became his escape and admitted to frequently drinking to the point of unconsciousness.

“We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn't. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink,” Tommy shared.

The boxer urged others in similar situations to take control of their lives and recognize that alcohol worsens problems rather than solving them.

Tommy also expressed hope for an imminent return to the ring, signaling a fresh start for his career and personal life.
