Interim WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker commented on Tyson Fury's decision to retire from boxing.
Quote: "It seems Tyson has retired. And if that’s the case, it’s great because he has achieved everything possible in boxing. A two-time world champion. Not just in boxing—he’s come back from depression and achieved it all. He has a wonderful wife and amazing children.
If he really has retired, I hope he enjoys the rest of his life," Parker told Sky Sports.
Former world champion Tony Bellew also commented on Fury’s surprising decision to leave boxing. According to Bellew, this might be a bargaining tool in negotiations for a fight with Anthony Joshua.
Reminder: The 36-year-old Fury lost his last two fights to Oleksandr Usyk.
