“I don’t know.” Neymar comments on his future at Santos

Santos cruised to a 3–0 win over Cruzeiro and secured a place in the Copa Sudamericana, but the team’s star and leading figure still hasn’t decided what comes next.

Details: Speaking after the match, Neymar admitted he still doesn’t know whether he will stay at Santos. He plans to take a few days off before making a final decision. However, Santos remains his priority.

Quote: I don’t know, honestly. I don’t know… I need a few days, I need to rest, disconnect, and then decide my future. Of course, my priority has always been Santos, Neymar said.

Santos finished the season in 12th place in the Brazilian Serie A table, collecting 47 points from 38 matches. They will compete in next season’s Copa Sudamericana.

Neymar returned to Santos in January 2025 as a free agent after his contract with Al-Hilal expired. His current deal with the club runs until December 2025.
