Portuguese coach José Mourinho commented on the current work of Manchester United's head coach, Erik ten Hag.

In an interview with The Telegraph, The Special One stated that he didn't have the same level of trust and support. He emphasized that his working relationship with former executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was not good.

"My relationship with the former executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was good. Good from a personal point of view. Even now, we exchange messages. But from a professional point of view, they weren't the best.

I am who I am. I am a football man. Ed comes from a different environment, and what Ten Hag has at Manchester United, I didn't have," said Mourinho.

José added that it was sad for him to leave because he felt like he was at the beginning of the process. At certain moments, the Portuguese felt that if they trusted and believed in his experience, things could have been different.

It is worth recalling that José Mourinho shared his plans for the future and does not think he will retire soon.

Manchester United's head coach, Erik ten Hag, referred to the criticism of the Red Devils as a "shame" after their semi-final match in the FA Cup against Coventry.
