"I didn't expect it." Mohamed Salah talks about working with Arne Slot

For years, Liverpool was synonymous with Jürgen Klopp, but after his decision to leave the club, Arne Slot stepped in as the new manager. The Reds' star, Mohamed Salah, shared his thoughts on working with the Dutch coach.

Details: In an interview with TNT, the Egyptian forward admitted he didn't expect Arne Slot to be as impressive as he turned out to be. However, his perception changed after they started working together.

Quote: "Before working with Arne Slot, I didn’t expect him to be this good… but then we started working, and now I’m not surprised at all! He’s very detail-oriented, pays great attention to small things, and doesn’t have an ego when he makes a mistake. He knows tactics very well," Salah said.

Liverpool is showcasing excellent football this season, leading both the Premier League and Champions League standings. Salah, the team's talisman, has expressed his desire to achieve even more.

It was recently reported that the Egyptian winger is having an outstanding season with Liverpool and is among the favorites for the Ballon d'Or. However, Salah himself does not place much importance on this recognition.

Background. Previous reports suggested that the star forward had agreed to a new contract with Liverpool, which was said to be a two-year extension.
