I didn't even dream of it. Arteta speaks out about Arsenal's crushing Champions League victory

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta spoke to reporters after a major victory over Lens (6:0) in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage.

This result guaranteed the English team first place in the group.

According to the Spanish coach, he did not even think that the match would end with such a score.

"I never dreamed of a result like this, but today we had the opportunity to qualify and finish top of the group and we did it impressively against a very strong team. We showed aggression and determination on the pitch from the start, especially in the first 30 minutes , and this played a huge role in our victory.

It’s great that we were able to show such a game, and I think that our home stadium has become a real fortress for us, where we don’t concede and score a lot of goals. It is very important for us. Our players must take confidence from this experience and understand that we can cope with big opponents.
