"I couldn't even imagine this was possible" - Jürgen Klopp comments for the first time on Salah's departure from Liverpool

Liverpool is set to lose one of the Premier League’s brightest stars.

Details: In a recent episode of the Anfield Wrap podcast, former Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp publicly shared his thoughts for the first time on Salah’s departure from Liverpool at the end of the season.

"Where he came from, what he went through, and what he has given us – it’s unbelievable. When you work with him, the bigger picture just seems absurd, and his statistics are unmatched. Maybe in ten years we’ll be sitting here and maybe Ekitike will break his records, but it will be tough. I couldn’t have imagined anything like this was possible – the stats Mohamed has, his performances, some of which will surely remain unsurpassed." Klopp said.

Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool back in 2017 from Italian side Roma for €42 million. To date, he has made 435 appearances for the Reds, scoring 255 goals and providing 122 assists. Salah spent his entire Liverpool career under Jürgen Klopp’s guidance. Together, they won the Premier League twice, the Champions League once, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
