"I can't believe it". England legend speaks out about the penalty against the Netherlands

Liverpool and England legend Jamie Carragher commented on the penalty incident against the Netherlands, which resulted in Harry Kane equalizing in the match, for The Telegraph.

During one of the plays, Denzel Dumfries fouled Harry Kane in a challenge. After reviewing the video replay, the referee deemed it a penalty.

However, Carragher believes that the referee, Felix Zwayer, made a mistake.

"That was never a pen. I can't believe the referee was asked by the VAR to look at it. And then I can't believe he gave it. If England go on to win this game, they have luck on their side", Carragher stated.

The winner of the Netherlands vs. England match will face Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
