Hakimi claims he has nothing to fear, as all accusations are false and no rape took place:
“Today, a rape accusation is enough to justify a trial, even when I contest it and everything shows it is false. This is unfair both to the innocent and to genuine victims. I am calmly awaiting this trial, which will allow the truth to be revealed publicly.” - wrote Hakimi.
In 2023, a 24-year-old woman accused Hakimi of rape. According to her account, she came to Hakimi’s home in Boulogne-Billancourt after meeting him online. At this point, there is no evidence of any forceful actions on Hakimi’s part.
