"I am better." The coach of the Panathinaikos basketball team on comparisons with Ancelotti

The head coach of the Panathinaikos basketball team, Ergin Ataman, commented on comparisons with Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.

In an interview for the Sport Club program, the Turkish specialist was asked about the Los Blancos coach. Ergin Ataman responded that he is superior.

"I am better," Ataman smiled. "However, my focus now is on the Greek Basketball League final," replied the Turkish coach.

In the EuroLeague final match held on May 26 in Berlin, Panathinaikos defeated Real with a score of 95-80. This victory marked Ergin Ataman's fifth triumph in the tournament.

For Carlo Ancelotti, the UEFA Champions League victory against Borussia Dortmund earned the Italian specialist his fifth UEFA Champions League title, setting a record among all coaches.

This UEFA Champions League title marked the 15th in the history of Los Blancos, and for four Real Madrid players, it was their sixth in their careers. These players are Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Nacho Fernandez, and Dani Carvajal. Notably, only Toni Kroos won his six trophies with different teams, while the rest achieved theirs in the Real Madrid jersey.
