"I agree with Ronaldo": Neymar compares Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League

After moving from PSG to Al-Hilal, Neymar shared his thoughts on the differences between Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League.

Details: In an interview with CNN, the Brazilian winger echoed Cristiano Ronaldo’s sentiment, suggesting that Ligue 1 is weaker as a league compared to the Saudi Pro League.

Quote: "I agree with Cristiano. Today, I think the Saudi Pro League is above Ligue 1. The level of the Saudi league is improving, and the players are better as well. But Ligue 1 has its strengths. It’s a league of very high quality—I know this well," Neymar explained.

Currently playing for Al-Hilal, Neymar’s former teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are in the U.S., representing Inter Miami. In the same interview, Neymar also commented on the possibility of reuniting with them.

Recently, it was reported that Neymar is in talks to terminate his contract with Al-Hilal, which runs until the summer of 2025, as he seeks a potential move back to Santos.

Reminder: It is expected that Santos will announce Neymar's return after the end of the Brazilian Serie B season.
