Hummels Responds with Humor to News of Possible Ranieri’s Appointment
It is highly likely that legendary Claudio Ranieri will be reappointed as the head coach of Roma.
According to early reports, Claudio will soon sign a contract with the Giallorossi until the end of the season. The experienced coach is ready to resume his managerial career for Roma's sake.
German defender Mats Hummels, who barely played under Ivan Juric, responded to the news of the new coach in his usual humorous style.
Details: On his Instagram, the defender posted a photo of himself holding a smartphone, captioning the image: "Me over the past 72 hours."
Hummels became a Roma player in September, but waited to make his debut for Roma until 27 October, when he played 23 minutes against Fiorentina and had an own goal. Since then, the German has not appeared on the pitch.
Reminder: Ranieri has already managed Roma twice: from 2009 to 2011 and in 2019. Last summer, Claudio officially retired from coaching.
Earlier reports suggested that one of the main candidates to replace Juric was Roberto Mancini. The former Italy and Manchester City manager has already held talks with Roma's leadership.
