Hugo Broos is not a fan of Pitso Mosimane taking over as Bafana Bafana coach.
Broos left the Bafana coaching post last month and Mosimane is front-runner to replace the Belgian gaffer at the national side.
But Broos has given his opinion on what he makes of Mosimane.
"South Africa still don't have a coach," said Broos told on Het Nieuwsblad.
"The candidate is Pitso Mosimane, a successful South African coach. But they know that if he comes in, they'll go five years back in time."
"Club owners and agents calling coaches to influence the squad selection. I threw all of them out. If one called, I would say bluntly: 'I don't talk with agents'."
Mosimane's appointment is expected to be made official this week.
