Hugo Broos on Relebohile Mofokeng role for Bafana Bafana: He is not a winger and I will be using him as a number 10 because of his intelligence

Relebohile Mofokeng is played out of position.

He is not being played to his best position at Orlando Pirates.

This is according to Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos when he announced his squad for the Panama friendly games in the upcoming Fifa International break.

“He’s not a winger, Rele is not a winger,” Broos told the media.

“I will see now if I can satisfy us in that position [no.10]. For me he will not play anymore on the wings, because I don’t think he’s a winger.

“He doesn’t have the qualities to be a good winger. I think he has the qualities to be a good number 10. Because there with his intelligence, with his qualities, he can help the team a lot.

“It’s up to him now, I will give him the chance and we will see what that brings.”
