Olwethu Makhanya sees the arrival of Pitso Mosimane as an opportunity for him to restart his Bafana Bafana career.
The Scotalnd-based left-footed centre back said playing regularly for the national team under previous coach, Hugo Broos, was something distant for him.
"Honestly, I wasn’t really nervous about the whole change of coaches,” said Makhanya on Metro FM.
"I just thought it was an opportunity for a fresh start in the national team cause I always felt like I’ve always been overlooked by the previous coach.
“So, for me, that’s how I’m seeing it – a fresh start and fresh opportunity for everyone to raise their hand and do what they can do for the national team.”
