Betis have announced a new agreement with Isco, extending the Spanish midfielder’s contract until 2028. The contract renewal was revealed in spectacular fashion—before the match against Girona, fans in the stands at the Benito Villamarín unveiled a gigantic banner in his honor.
The 33-year-old midfielder’s contract was initially set to run until June 30, 2027, but after weeks of negotiations, both parties agreed to extend the deal by another season.

It’s worth noting that Isco has recovered from injury and has been named in the squad for the first time this season. The former Real Madrid player has been representing Betis since 2023, when he joined as a free agent after leaving Sevilla.
