A replacement has been found for the bout against Joe Joyce, instead of the injured Dillian Whyte.

Details. Joe Joyce and Croatian fighter Filip Hrgovic will meet at the Co-Op Live arena in Manchester on April 5. This information is confirmed by promoter Frank Warren.

Quote. “This will be a better fight than with Whyte, and it's a risky one. But that's how it should be—he's in the 'Last Chance' saloon now. But if he beats Hrgovic, he's back in business, in a big way,” Warren told The Ring.

Joyce was supposed to face Dillian Whyte on this day, until the Brixton native withdrew from the fight due to a hand injury, sustained in the gym.

Reminder. Hrgovic hasn't fought since he was stopped due to cuts by Daniel Dubois in the eighth round of their classic bout in Riyadh on June 1 last year.
