Manchester United are prepared to pay €75 million for Victor Osimhen’s transfer this summer. The English club is ready to make this move due to the underwhelming performances of their current strikers and sees the Nigerian as the ideal candidate for next season.
Details: According to Napoli Magazine, Osimhen is highly likely (95%) to be sold after returning to Napoli from Galatasaray. However, United could face difficulties due to the striker’s high wages—his salary exceeds £200,000 per week.
Reminder: In addition, the Manchester club’s hierarchy still needs to convince Osimhen of the long-term potential of their project, as the forward wants to compete for trophies and play in the Champions League. At the moment, United are far from even securing a spot in European competitions for next season.
