"How is this possible?" Ranieri Questions Hummels' Lack of Playing Time at Roma

AS Roma is now on its third coach this season, with the legendary Claudio Ranieri taking the reins. The new manager has addressed the situation surrounding Mats Hummels.

Details: Roma signed Hummels as a free agent, but the German center-back has barely played for the team, logging only 24 minutes so far. Ranieri is baffled by this situation.

Quote: "I’ve watched the games… and I keep asking myself: why isn’t Mats Hummels playing? How is this possible?" said the new Roma manager.

Ranieri has also urged the fans to rally behind the team, emphasizing that jeers from the crowd are the last thing Roma—or he—needs right now.

Reminder: Claudio Ranieri's contract runs until the end of the current season. While he had announced his retirement at the end of last season, he decided to return to coaching for Roma.
