Details: Earlier today, the official page of Spanish side Alavés on social network X announced that 61-year-old Quique Sánchez Flores has officially been appointed as the new head coach of the team.

Reports indicate that Flores replaces Eduardo Coudet, who was dismissed due to unsatisfactory results. Quique Sánchez Flores has signed a contract with Alavés until the summer of 2028, with an option for extension.
Quique Sánchez Flores brings a wealth of experience to the role. Previously, he has managed clubs such as Getafe, Valencia, Benfica, Atlético Madrid, Watford, Espanyol, and Sevilla.
Currently, Alavés sit 16th in La Liga with 27 points after 26 rounds and are in danger of slipping into the relegation zone.
