Manchester City is considering the return of their academy graduate Felix Nmecha.

Details: According to Football Insider, the 25-year-old German international midfielder Felix Nmecha has once again caught Pep Guardiola’s eye thanks to his outstanding performances for Borussia Dortmund this season.

Reports indicate that Nmecha is currently viewed as the top alternative to Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson. Should negotiations for Anderson stall, City is ready to shift all their focus to signing the German.

The player himself has yet to comment on the rumors of a return, but the prospect of playing for the English champions under the world’s top manager could prove decisive for him.

This season, the German midfielder has made 38 appearances, scored 5 goals, and provided 3 assists. Transfermarkt values him at €45 million.

Reminder: Pep Guardiola has been handed a two-match suspension, but he will be able to attend the match against Arsenal thanks to a regulatory loophole.
