Mauro Icardi may be about to make one of the most sensational transfers of the year and return to his homeland.
Details: According to insider Ekrem Konur, Argentine giants River Plate are seriously targeting the signing of the star striker this summer. The "Millonarios" management sees the experienced forward as the perfect reinforcement for their Copa Libertadores campaign and is ready to offer him a lucrative contract.
It is reported that the Argentine club is already working out the details of a two-year deal. For Icardi, this could be a chance not only to return home, but also to prove himself at one of South America's most decorated clubs.
At the moment, the striker's future at Istanbul's Galatasaray remains uncertain, and the summer transfer window will be the decisive moment when Icardi will have to choose between continuing his European career or heading back to Argentina.
