The authoritative publication FourFourTwo presented a list of the best transfers in the history of Manchester City.

Interestingly, journalists consider David Silva’s transfer from Valencia in 2010 to be the best transfer in the history of the “citizens”.

They gave second place in the ranking to the transfer of Colin Bell from Bury in 1966. The third is completed by the transfer of Argentine forward Sergio Aguero from Atlético Madrid in 2011.
