Hold on at all costs! Manchester City offer new contract to team leader. Who does Guardiola want to keep?
Real Madrid will have to pull out all the stops if they want to lure away the Ballon d'Or winner.
Details: According to renowned and highly respected journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, Manchester City's management have officially made a contract extension offer to the team's 29-year-old defensive midfielder Rodri.

It's reported that City boss Pep Guardiola is determined not to let Rodri go, considering him one of the key players in his squad—someone who must be retained at all costs.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid remains the main contender for Rodri, but the final decision rests with the player himself.
If Rodri refuses to sign a new deal, Manchester City still have no plans to let him join Real for free and will demand a hefty transfer fee from Los Blancos this summer.
Rodri's current contract with City runs until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated at €65 million by Transfermarkt.
Reminder: Time to go? Manchester City has made a final decision on Guardiola's future
