Hold at any cost! Arsenal looks to scare off Real Madrid

A real race has kicked off between the English and Spanish giants.

Details: According to DailyArsenal, Arsenal’s French defender William Saliba has become a prime target for Real Madrid in this transfer window.

Reports suggest Los Blancos are already preparing a transfer offer worth €80 million, along with an attractive personal contract for the 24-year-old Saliba. In response, Arsenal’s management is doing everything possible to keep hold of their young star—tabling a proposal to improve his current contract, which runs until 2027.

Arsenal’s bosses have offered the player a significant salary increase and an extensive bonus structure, making it clear: Saliba is a central figure in their project.

The player himself has yet to make a final decision.

Last season, Saliba featured in 51 matches for the Gunners, scoring two goals. The portal Transfermarkt values him at €80 million.
