HLTV to create its own Hall of Fame: Who could make the cut?

The Counter-Strike series has a rich history of competitive play, and fans of the game want to preserve and honor the brightest players who have written this history.

Details: The well-known portal HLTV has announced the creation of its own Hall of Fame, aiming to celebrate the most notable players and coaches. Importantly, active professionals will not be eligible for the Hall of Fame—only those who have already retired from their careers can be inducted.

Each year, between three and five individuals will be selected to receive the following rewards:

• Induction ceremony at the HLTV Awards
• A Rolex watch engraved with “Hall of Fame”
• A special HLTV player profile
• Recognition on the new Hall of Fame page
• An article and video showcasing their career

The decision on who will be inducted will be made by a committee. The members of this committee, the process, and the nominees for the first group of inductees will be announced soon. The first group will be inducted into the HLTV Hall of Fame at the HLTV Awards ceremony in Belgrade on January 11, 2025.
