The Catalans will have to dig deep into their pockets if they want to land the Argentine striker.
Details: According to the reputable and well-known journalist Ekrem Konur, who shared on his social media page X, Atlético Madrid may let 25-year-old Argentine forward Julián Álvarez move to Barcelona—but only if the Catalan giants put forward an offer in the region of €200 million.
It's reported that Álvarez's market value is €100 million, but Los Colchoneros have made it clear they have no intention of parting with their star for that price.

In addition to Barcelona, London side Arsenal has also shown interest in Álvarez, but it’s the Catalan powerhouse that remains the main contender for the striker.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona’s transfer budget—currently under significant strain—will be able to stretch that far, but there is hope in Catalonia that the Álvarez deal can be sealed this summer.
This season, Julián Álvarez has played 28 matches for Atlético Madrid, scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists.
The Argentine forward’s current contract with Los Colchoneros runs until 2030.
