An historic record was set in the final, 38th round of the English Premier League clash between Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

Max Dowman was named in the Gunners' starting lineup at just 16 years and 144 days old, becoming the youngest player ever in Premier League history to start a match from the opening whistle.

The young midfielder is regarded as one of the most promising talents to come through the London club's academy, and his inclusion in the Premier League starting XI marks a major milestone for both the player and Arsenal.

Interestingly, after this game, the 16-year-old Dowman will celebrate the Premier League title with the team. Notably, Max was born five years after the Gunners last lifted the league trophy.
