Real Madrid travels to face Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey semi-final, and this match will be historic for Vinicius.
Details: The Brazilian winger will be the team's captain for this encounter. For the first time in his Real Madrid career, Vinicius will lead the team onto the field with the captain's armband.
Vinicius joined Real in the summer of 2018, initially playing for Castilla, and made his debut for the first team on September 29. He became the first player in the "Los Blancos" squad born in the 2000s.
Incidentally, the team's top scorer Kylian Mbappe is not included in Carlo Ancelotti's squad for the cup game. Also absent are the main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and key central midfielder Federico Valverde, as Ancelotti has opted to rest them.
