The return of the star midfielder to French football turned out to be surprisingly short-lived.

Details: Monaco’s management and France international Paul Pogba have officially announced the end of their collaboration. Both parties have jointly decided to terminate the contract on the eve of the 2026/27 season.

The Principality club expressed sincere gratitude to the 2018 World Cup winner, wishing him every success in the next chapter of his career. The French midfielder joined the Monegasques in the 2025 offseason as a free agent, but recurring injuries prevented him from making a true impact.

Another injury, suffered during the club’s preseason training camp in England this August, ultimately convinced both the club and the player that an early separation was necessary.

Pogba managed to make just six appearances for Monaco, failing to register any goals or assists. According to Transfermarkt, Paul Pogba’s market value is estimated at €2.5 million.
