A chance to reboot his career! French giant eyes Chelsea midfielder
Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia could be on the move in the current transfer window.
Details: According to renowned insider Ekrem Konur, Monaco have submitted official offers to sign Chelsea's 22-year-old holding midfielder Romeo Lavia.
Reports indicate that Chelsea's management are considering two potential deal structures: a permanent transfer for $29 million or a loan with an option to buy for $40 million. Chelsea are open to the incoming proposals and are not ruling out parting ways with the player.
It's worth noting that the Belgian holding midfielder has been with Chelsea since August 2023, with his contract running until June 30, 2030. Due to a string of injuries, Lavia has struggled to cement a place in the Blues' starting lineup: in the 2025/26 season, he made 12 Premier League appearances without registering a goal or assist. According to Transfermarkt, the 22-year-old's market value is estimated at €22 million.
