He's coming back. Werner will play in the Premier League again

German forward Timo Werner of RB Leipzig is returning to the English Premier League, according to Florian Plettenberg.

RB Leipzig and Tottenham are in the final stages of negotiations for a loan deal until the end of the season. It is currently unknown whether the contract will include a buyout option for Spurs.

In the current season, Werner has fallen out of RB Leipzig's starting lineup, featuring in only 14 matches, scoring 2 goals, and providing 1 assist.

Previously, Werner played in England for Chelsea, where he struggled to meet expectations, registering 23 goals and 21 assists in 89 matches.

Tottenham lost their key forward, Son Heung-min, to the Asian Cup in January, where he is representing South Korea.
