Saudi Arabia head coach Hervé Renard returned to the national team setup and guided them to World Cup qualification, but recent reports suggested he could leave. His decision is now known.
Details: According to L’Équipe, the French manager has decided to remain in charge of Saudi Arabia and continue preparing the team for the 2026 World Cup. For him, as well as for Saudi Arabia, it will be a second consecutive World Cup appearance.
Earlier reports claimed that Renard would not continue his work in Saudi Arabia and was in talks with Ghana over a potential deal. Ghana had also explored the possibility of appointing Walid Regragui.
Reminder: The Ghana national team has dismissed its head coach and is currently searching for a replacement. One of the names linked to the position is Joachim Löw, who has now commented on the speculation.
