Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino will continue his season in the French top flight.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Strasbourg have fully agreed on the terms of a loan deal for the 20-year-old until the end of the current season. The insider reports that the deal is in its final stages, with both parties already preparing the official documents.
The London club and the player have ruled out a return to Borussia Dortmund, and Chelsea’s management have chosen Strasbourg as the ideal destination for Anselmino’s development. There, he will have the opportunity for regular playing time in a competitive league and to further adapt to European football.
In the coming days, the player will undergo a medical, after which the transfer will be officially announced.
It’s worth noting that in the first half of the season, the Argentine defender played for Borussia Dortmund, making ten appearances and recording one goal and one assist.
