Here we go! Roma win the race for one of Europe's most promising defenders

Details: Roma are on the verge of finalizing another signing. Renowned insider Fabrizio Romano has dropped his trademark “Here we go!”, confirming that Greek defender Konstantinos Koulierakis will become the newest addition to the Roman club.

According to the source, Roma have reached a full agreement with Wolfsburg on all terms of the deal. The parties also finalized terms with the player himself yesterday, meaning there are no more obstacles to complete the transfer.

The reported transfer fee is around €15 million. The clubs now just need to finish the paperwork, after which the defender will officially join the Roman side.

For Roma, signing Koulierakis is a major boost for their defensive line ahead of the new season. The young Greek is regarded as one of the most promising players in his position and is expected to bring added reliability to the heart of the defense.

Koulierakis’s market value is currently estimated at €25 million by Transfermarkt.
