Real Madrid continue to invest in players they believe can become part of the club’s future.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign 21-year-old Ghanaian centre-back Oscar Naasei from Granada. The deal is worth €2 million, and the defender has already completed his medical.

Naasei is viewed in Madrid as a player for the future rather than an immediate addition to the first-team starting line-up. The Ghanaian defender is expected to begin his spell with Real Madrid Castilla, where the club will be able to closely monitor his development.

Romano also reports that a German club had been seriously interested in the defender, but Naasei ultimately opted for the move to Real Madrid. The agreement comes after Madrid had already been tracking the youngster, with AS reporting earlier this week that the Spanish giants were closing in on his arrival from Granada.

It is worth noting that Naasei, who stands 1.85 metres tall, can operate both as a centre-back and at right-back. He joined Granada’s youth system from Ghanaian side Emmanuel City in 2023 and later progressed to the first team. According to Transfermarkt data cited by AS, his market value is currently estimated at €1.5 million.

Reminder: Incredible! Mbappé scores his first hat-trick of the season!
