Monaco will receive a hefty compensation.
Details: Paris Saint-Germain have pulled off another major signing. According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer of Monaco midfielder Maghnes Akliouche is fully agreed, with the deal now in its final stages.
The Parisian club has reached an agreement with Monaco for the 24-year-old's transfer for €50 million. After a breakthrough in club-to-club negotiations, both parties have also ironed out the final details with the player himself, who has given his green light to the move.
Now, Akliouche just needs to complete his medical, which is scheduled for next week. After that, the Frenchman will sign a long-term contract with PSG, tying him to the club until June 2031.
For the reigning French champions, this is one of the marquee reinforcements of the current transfer window. Akliouche is regarded as one of Ligue 1's brightest young stars, and his arrival is set to significantly boost Luis Enrique's attacking options ahead of the new season.
