Here we go! Leicester head coach joins to Chelsea

Enzo Maresca is the new head coach of Chelsea. According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Leicester have reached an agreement for the Italian coach's transfer, with Romano adding his trademark phrase "Here we go!"

Interestingly, Maresca will sign a five-year contract with Chelsea, with an option to extend for an additional year.

Chelsea will pay Leicester a compensation fee of £8 million for Maresca's transfer.

It is worth noting that after the season concluded, Chelsea unexpectedly dismissed Mauricio Pochettino, despite the team finishing strongly and securing sixth place in the Premier League.

In the 2022/23 season, Maresca was an assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, and subsequently became the head coach of Leicester, with whom he won the Championship. Maresca also has experience working with Parma.
