Here we go! João Cancelo moves to Barcelona

Details: Today, on the official page of renowned insider Fabrizio Romano on X, his signature "Here we go" appeared, signaling that the 31-year-old Portuguese defender from Saudi club Al Hilal, João Cancelo, has signed a contract with Catalan giants Barcelona.

According to Romano, the agreement between Cancelo and Barcelona runs until June, with the Blaugrana set to pay Al Hilal €4 million for the loan deal.

The agreement between Inter and Al Hilal regarding Cancelo, which had been previously established, is no longer valid as the Portuguese chose Barcelona himself.

This marks Cancelo’s second stint in Catalonia. He previously played for the Blaugrana during the 2023/24 season on loan, making 42 appearances for Barcelona, scoring 4 goals, and providing 5 assists before returning to Manchester City, his parent club.
