The transfer deal is fully sealed: French defender Clément Lenglet is swapping Spain's La Liga for Portugal's Primeira Liga.

Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Benfica and Atlético Madrid have reached a complete agreement for the player's transfer.

Exclusive details about the upcoming move have also emerged. The 31-year-old centre-back will sign a full-fledged long-term contract with the Lisbon Eagles for three years—his deal will run until June 2029.

In the coming days, the player will undergo a medical and officially sign the contract.

Notably, this season the French defender made 24 appearances for Atlético, registering one assist—which came in a La Liga clash against Barcelona. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €4 million.
