The loan spell at Chelsea has ended prematurely.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on his social network page X, 21-year-old Brighton midfielder Facundo Buonanotte is set to become a Leeds player on loan.

It is reported that Buonanotte is currently preparing for his medical, all contract details have been settled, and the transfer will be officially announced after the medical.

Facundo will join Leeds on loan until the end of the season. There is no information regarding a buyout option in Buonanotte's contract.

Facundo Buonanotte joined Brighton in 2023 from Argentinian side Rosario. In September 2025, London club Chelsea took the midfielder on loan for the season. However, after making just 8 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists, Chelsea’s management decided to terminate the Argentinian’s loan early.

According to Transfermarkt, Buonanotte’s transfer value is estimated at 18 million euros.
