Italian midfielder Cesare Casadei has struggled for playing time at Chelsea and has decided to make a move.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Casadei will continue his career at Torino. The deal between all parties is now finalized. The Turin club will pay €12.5 million, with Chelsea retaining 25% of any future sale. The midfielder has already completed his medical and signed his contract.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s head coach has confirmed that Kepa Arrizabalaga will remain at Bournemouth until the end of his loan deal. The manager plans to rely on the goalkeepers already available in the squad.
Maresca intends to rely on the goalkeepers currently in the squad, though he has yet to make a final decision on the team’s goalkeeping rotation.
Reminder: Aston Villa have intensified their interest in Chelsea forward João Félix. Following Jhon Durán’s sale, the Birmingham club is set to earn €77 million, which is expected to be enough to fund Félix’s transfer.
