Maresca hints at possible goalkeeper change after Sánchez's error against Man City

Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez had a game to forget against Manchester City, with his mistake leading to a goal for the reigning champions. Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca expressed support for his player but made it clear that repeated errors will not be tolerated.

Details: Maresca emphasized that he continues to trust Sánchez but noted that the decision on who will start in goal will depend on the team’s performance during the week.

Quote: "Of course, we trust Robert, but at the same time, he understands he’s making mistakes. We continue to have faith in him, but we have a full week of training ahead. We’ll assess his reaction and make a decision for the upcoming games."

Reminder: In the same match, Manchester City’s new defender Abduqodir Khusanov also made a costly error. However, head coach Pep Guardiola publicly backed his young signing, emphasizing his potential.
