Here we go! Celta signs Manchester United goalkeeper

Celta is making a surprise move to strengthen their goalkeeping department right on the eve of the new season.

Details: According to respected insider Fabrizio Romano, Spanish side Celta have reached a full agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of 28-year-old Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir. Negotiations between the clubs have been successful, with the deal earning Romano's trademark 'Here we go' confirmation.

It is reported that the Turkish keeper will join Vigo on loan. The agreement includes a €4 million buyout option, though the final fee may change depending on the number of appearances Bayindir makes. Manchester United have already given official permission for Bayindir to travel to Spain for his medical and to sign the contract.

Bayindir joined Manchester United in 2023 from Fenerbahce for €5 million. He has played 17 matches for the Red Devils, conceding 31 goals and keeping three clean sheets. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value stands at €5 million.
