The transfer market interest in the young prodigy was immense: several top Premier League clubs vied to land Eichorn. Previously, we also reported on Bayern Munich's interest in the player.
However, both Eichorn and his camp firmly rejected lucrative offers from England, opting instead for Bayer's long-term sporting project. Leverkusen's executives sealed the deal with a major contract, signing the German wonderkid on a five-year deal through June 2031.
It's worth noting that this season, the German wonderkid featured in 20 matches for Hertha across all competitions, netting 2 goals. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €20 million.
