Atlético Madrid defender Clément Lenglet sustained an injury at the start of the Copa del Rey match against Atlético Baleares, in which the Madrid side edged their opponents 3-2.

Details: According to Atlético Madrid's official website, the Frenchman underwent a thorough medical examination today, December 18. The results revealed that the 30-year-old has suffered a high-grade sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his knee, but without any associated injuries. Lenglet is expected to be sidelined for about two months.

It's worth noting that this season, the defender has made 10 appearances across all competitions without registering a goal or assist.

Reminder: Atlético Madrid are trying to lure Marcus Rashford away from Barcelona.
