‘He won't last long’. Szczęsny could return to big football

At the end of August, Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny announced his retirement, but in his homeland they are sure that Wojtek will not live without football for a long time.

In any case, so believes the head coach of the Polish national team Michał Probierz, who expressed about the end of the career of his former charges:

‘I can only say ‘more thanks’ to Wojciech for what he did during the year we worked together. We all know he was a big personality here. My personal opinion is that Wojtek will not last long, because he is young and he will still come back to football.’

The specialist also cited other sports as an example:

‘Life is fleeting, as we see, a lot of tennis players, a lot of boxers are coming back. I know the situation in boxing and I know how it functions. Wojtek has been in football for many years, it might have tired him a little bit and exactly the realisation of this freedom is a little bit different.

But I, looking at him at times, because I don't have to talk to him for a long time, I believe that in six months he will already be playing somewhere,’ Probierz said at a press conference.
