Milan are ready to say goodbye to head coach Stefano Pioli during the summer off-season, but the specialist is not going to grieve for long and is ready to open the next page of his coaching career before the start of the next campaign.

There were reports of interest from Bologna, who saw the 58-year-old as a replacement for Thiago Motta, but Il Mattino have announced a more tempting offer for Pioli, which could come from Napoli.

The details of the contract that Napoli boss Aurelio De Laurentiis is ready to offer the coach are already known: a two-year deal with a salary of six million euros. But, Pioli is in no hurry to accept this offer, as he intends to finalise his future in Milan.
